黃致錕院長在春節時段，受邀參加印度減重代謝外科年會OSSI 2018
身為終身會員的他，不僅是分享他多年來的知識與經驗，同樣也是提升他個人的醫療知識與技術。這也就是為什麼黃致錕院長 時常出國參與各種國際會議的原因了。
以下敘述節錄自黃致錕院長個人facebook:
過年後的第一次國際會議，印度清奈。
又要開始忙碌的飛行了。
印度是個很多人口的國家，貧富差距雖然很大，但是減重手術的需求與發展卻是亞洲最快速的地方。
因此印度減重手術年度大會也是各國醫生傳遞經驗與知識的平台，三年前印度學會頒發「終生會員」給我，對我們而言也是很大的榮譽。

這次印度減重代謝外科年會，來自歐亞美澳的受邀國際講者就有19位，印度國內講者多達65位，都是一時之選。
手術示範共有16種手術之多。
盛會可期。

醫學研究是科學，也是我們持續尋找生命真相的方法。
我們站在真相之前，都應該繼續謙卑。

It is always fruitful and fun to exchange knowledge and scientific results between international experts.
We grew in this way, and grow young generation in the same way.
Be humble in front of “Truth”, because we are always on the way to “Truth”!
